Tri-School Financial Aid Night
A reminder to all junior and senior parents that Mercy will host the Tri-School Financial Aid Night on Wednesday, January 5 at 6:30 p.m. The event will be held in the Great Hall of Kohl Mansion. Linda Judge, senior associate director at St. Mary's, will speak about filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and will answer questions about financial aid for college. Do you carpool to school? The Peninsula Traffic Congestion Relief Alliance provides various incentives for carpooling, as well as other information on their website: www.commute.org. They offer a school program where you can earn a one-time $25 gas card incentive for transporting at least two children from two different households to one school, a minimum of two days per week. This was clearly evident during these last few weeks, as the Serra community rallied to help some local families in need through the Big Brothers Club's Adopt-a-Family program. Thank you for your overwhelming generosity during these difficult economic times by donating money, non-perishable food items, clothing and toys.
