In the opening round of CCS Playoffs, Varsity Baseball beat Sequoia yesterday, 11-0. Matt Gorgolinski pitched a no-hitter and Neil Sterling hit two home runs! Look for the Padres in action again as they will play in the CCS Quarterfinals on Saturday. Opponent and time is to be announced.

Executive Council and the Padre Brothers for Others present:
Summer Slam next Friday, May 24th right after school (1:30-3:30pm). This will be a Tri-school event. $5 includes a BBQ lunch, flag football, egg toss, music, basketball and much, much more. Celebrate the end of a fantastic year! Tickets will go on sale this coming Tuesday.

ATHLETIC NEWS
All those students who are interested in running Cross Country in the Fall; there will be a mandatory meeting today after school in Room 100. Please see Coach DiMaggio if you can not attend.
SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
Any students who play or have played volleyball for Serra, are welcomed to help judge St. Greg's junior high girls tryouts for service hours. Tryouts are next Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday from 5:30-9pm. To sign up or for more info visit the online service calendar.
Want to gain service hours over the summer? The YMCA, Hiller Aviation Museum, Community School Music & Arts, InnVision, and College for Kids are all hosting summer camps and looking for Serra students to volunteer. JOB OPPORTUNITIES
There are several summer job opportunities including Lifeguarding at Fiesta Gardens in San Mateo; Mentor/Tutor a grammar school student in San Carlos, or volunteer at the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos. See the flyers on the Job Board for all of these opportunities.
