2019-20 Advisory Board of Regents

In September 2005, the Archdiocese of San Francisco approved bylaws that established Serra's Advisory Board of Regents. The purpose of the Advisory Board of Regents is to assist the President and, ultimately, the Superintendent of Catholic Schools by providing advice, counsel and assistance in the following areas:

  • Strategic Planning
  • Finance
  • Institutional Advancement & Development
  • Buildings and Grounds
  • Enrollment Management

Comprised of a dedicated cadre of alumni and alumni parents, as well as leaders from business, education, government and ministry, the board has added much value to our efforts to further the mission of Junipero Serra High School.

Aric Agresti ‘98
Aric is the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Northern California of the Boy Scouts of America. He has spent his career working in fundraising, marketing and nonprofit management. Aric is the Vice Chair of the Serra Board of Regents.
Megan Armando
Megan is the Principal of St. Charles Catholic School in San Carlos. She has been working as a teacher and administrator in San Mateo County Catholic elementary schools for 17 years. Megan serves on the Enrollment Management Committee.
Michael Collopy ‘76
Michael is a world-renowned professional portrait photographer. His work profiling and celebrating international peacemakers is particularly inspiring. He was honored as the Fund a Dream keynote speaker in 2017, and he was the Junipero Serra Award recipient in 2019. Michael serves on the Advancement Committee.

Dan Darcy ‘96
Dan is the Senior Vice President of Global Enablement at Salesforce. He has had an exceptional 12-year career at Salesforce in marketing, new product introduction and acquisition integration. Dan is the Chair of the Enrollment Management Committee.

Dixon Doll, Jr.
Dixon is the CEO and Founder of DBM Cloud Systems. He has taken two companies public in the last decade (Violin Memory in 2013 and Fusion in 2010). He began his career at Oracle. Dixon serves on the Advancement Committee.

Eric Dooley ‘02
Eric is the Quality Director at Veniti Inc., a medical device company in Fremont, which was acquired by Boston Scientific in 2018. Veniti manufactures a stent system for venous obstructive disease. Eric earned his B.S. in biomedical engineering from Duke University. Eric serves on the Advancement Committee.

Brian Dowd
Brian is Executive Vice President of Aligos Therapeutics. Brian’s career has included senior financial and executive positions at fast-growing technology and biotech companies. Brian is the Chair of the Finance Committee.
Eric Eger
Eric is an experienced professional with a broad background in planning, supply chain and finance. He was most recently Senior Director of Operations at Western Digital. Eric is the Chair of the Serra Board of Regents.
Fr. Michael Healy
Fr. Michael is the esteemed pastor at St. Bartholomew’s in San Mateo and a senior pastor in the Archdioceses. St. Bart’s is a vibrant parish in San Mateo and the site of the original Serra campus. Fr. Michael has been an advisor to Serra on the Board for six years and serves on the Strategic Planning Committee.

Rekha Hemrajani
Rekha has more than 20 years of operations and financial experience in the biotech industry. She recently was the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Arcus Biosciences. Rekha is the Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee.

Ralph Ho ‘89
Ralph is an advisor at Playground Global, an early stage investing firm with lab and office space for entrepreneurs and engineers. Ralph serves on the Finance Committee.

Tammy Kiely
Tammy is a partner at Goldman Sachs in Technology Investment Banking. Her career spans 24-plus years focused on finance and M&A in the semiconductor, hardware and electronics industries. Tammy is a graduate of Notre Dame Belmont (‘89). Tammy and her husband live with their family in San Mateo. Tammy serves on the Finance Committee.

Jason McDonald
Jason is Senior Vice President, Division Manager at North American Title Company. He oversees all operations and strategic activities in San Francisco and San Mateo County. Jason has been actively working in the Bay Area real estate market since he earned a degree in finance from San Francisco State University. Jason serves on the Enrollment Management Committee.

Andrea O’Riordan
Andrea is Executive Director of the Harvey and Leslie Wagner Foundation. She also is a member of the Notre Dame High School Board of Directors. Andrea is the Chair of the Advancement Committee.
Rob Rius ‘96
Rob is a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley. Rob has been actively involved with Serra’s basketball program for 11 years as a coach on the varsity and JV teams. He regularly employs ex-Serra players as summer interns looking to bridge the gap between sports and professional careers. Rob serves on the Enrollment Management Committee.

Nick Severino
Nick served as Vice President and CFO of Apple Retail, where he fueled the growth of Apple’s direct business from a few stores in the US to more than 500 physical stores in 22 countries. Nick also played a key role in the integration of Apple’s physical and online stores. He serves on the Global Advisory Board of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business. Nick is the Chair of the Buildings and Grounds Committee.

Jennifer Ullyot
Jen is an active community volunteer and a pro-bono, project-based consultant to not-for-profits. Jen received her MBA and worked for AOL in online marketing. She currently serves on the board of the Young Men’s Service League. Jen serves on the Strategic Planning Committee.
Rich Van Doren ‘95
Rich is a partner and the Chief Financial Officer of Samsara BioCapital, a Palo Alto based biotech investment fund. Samsara identifies cutting-edge biology that can be used in new therapies to treat patients with unmet medical needs. Rich serves on the Buildings and Grounds Committee
