Graduation Celebrations Underway

Serra High School will be honoring and celebrating its Class of 2020 graduates in a series of virtual events this week, including a senior awards ceremony to highlight the many accomplishments of its class and to announce the recipients of school and community awards and scholarships. The accolades will be celebrated on social media.

A virtual Parent and Son Baccalaureate (Liturgy of the Word) will also be held, which will be a final prayer service for the senior class and their families to unite in prayer and celebrate with each other as they prepare for graduation.

Serra's virtual graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 30 at 10 a.m. Despite the changes to the ceremony, Serra hopes to capture the spirit of brotherhood and celebrate the amazing successes of its students.

Serra has also committed to its Class of 2020, to the parents, to the teachers, and to the community, that they will host an in-person celebration, to be scheduled at a later date, to give its seniors the opportunity to come together with their classmates.
