New FloWater Units for Padres

New Serra freshmen weren't the only positive additions to our Serra campus last week. Three new FloWater units arrived on campus, allowing our students an incredibly refreshing way to stay hydrated.

FloWater's refill station technology features a proprietary advanced purification process to deliver fresh FloWater, which tastes and hydrates better than any other water available today. The FloWater units remove up to 99 percent of impurities from tap water and improve the water with four essential electrolytes and 10 trace minerals to increase alkalinity. The water is delivered through a coconut carbon filter into any refillable bottle, so there's no plastic waste.

"We are excited to partner with FloWater as we continue to nurture our young men about the importance of hydration throughout the day," said Chief Advancement Officer Mike Fadelli '88, who spearheaded efforts to get the units installed in the cafeteria and locker room. "We love seeing students and faculty filling up their water bottles at the refillable stations and we hope to be able to add more in the future."
