International Student Program Tuition and Fees

The annual tuition for Junípero Serra High School’s International Student Program is $51,625 ($71,625 with homestay option) for the 2025-2026 school year. The cost includes:

Non-Refundable Registration fee: $5,000
  • I-20 processing fee
  • Administrative costs
Tuition fee: $39,125
  • Full college-prep course load
  • Honors and Advanced Placement classes
  • Academic college counseling
Program fee: $7,500
  • Events during academic year
  • Medical insurance
  • Academic support
Optional - homestay fee: $20,000
  • Three meals per day
  • Bedroom with study space
  • Transportation
* Bedroom may be private or shared with another international student
Total Fees $51,625*   with Homestay $71,625
*New students will pay an additional $750 for textbooks; returning students will purchase books through the online bookstore.

 

Tuition also includes:

 

  • Serra cannot guarantee a homestay family. We will offer to connect you with one of our home stay providers. 
  • Medical insurance while enrolled in Serra’s international program.
  • Full schedule of college preparatory classes, including honors and AP courses.
  • Variety of social and cultural events to help students assimilate into American culture and connect with other international students
  • Annual yearbook, lock for locker, graduation fees.
  • Designated counselor who will provide academic support, mentoring and advocacy for students.
  • International Student Program team, who will provide ongoing support on campus.
Students will be introduced to life as a Padre with a summer orientation. The orientation will include:
  • Campus tours
  • Acquisition of textbooks
  • Review of the school’s rules, policies, and traditions
  • Cultural exchange event with Serra students, staff members and host families
  • Local area excursions to San Francisco, Silicon Valley and other points of interest
  • Opportunity to meet with “big brothers” who will welcome the students to Serra and help them to acclimate to their new school
