We invite you to find out firsthand what makes Serra an outstanding Catholic college preparatory high school. We have created a series of engaging and informative events for you to connect with us on campus, off campus and virtually. Our students, faculty, staff and administration look forward to meeting you.

Registration for all 2026-2027 admissions events opens Aug. 25, 2026. Create or log in to your applicant portal now to register for admissions events, access the full events calendar and receive updates throughout the season.

Log in to or create your free applicant portal.
Once your account is active, log in and navigate to the Events Calendar in the top navigation bar of your portal homepage.
Browse upcoming admissions events, select the ones that interest you and complete registration directly through the portal.
You will receive confirmation and reminder communications through the portal as your event date approaches.

Who It's For	Current 8th-grade students only One parent or guardian attends an on-campus welcome session from 8:30–9:30 a.m.
Format	Half-day shadow visit on campus

About This Event	Padre for a Day is the most immersive Serra visit experience available before applying. Your son will shadow a current Padre through a real school day — attending classes, experiencing how teachers engage students and sharing lunch with his host. For many students, it's the visit that makes the decision clear.
What to Expect	Presentation, campus tour and class shadowing with a current Padre host Lunch provided for student guests Parent welcome session on campus, 8:30–9:30 a.m.

About This Event	Open House is Serra's largest admissions event and the most comprehensive introduction to life as a Padre. In a single afternoon, your family can tour the campus, meet faculty across every department and connect with student leaders, coaches and club moderators. It's the fastest way to experience the full scope of what Serra offers — all in one place, all in one day.

Format	Small group on campus, weekly
When	Wednesdays, September through December Multiple dates available — register for the date that works for you.
About This Event	Walk Around Wednesdays are parent-only, small-group sessions with Serra President Michael Fadelli '88 and Head of Enrollment Management Julie Behn. It's an intimate, conversational experience — not a presentation — where you ask real questions and get real answers. Serra parent ambassadors are on hand to share their own perspective, and every session ends with a campus tour.

About This Event	Padre Previews are informal gatherings hosted by current Serra families in their homes. You will hear directly from students, parents and teachers about what Serra is actually like — the kind of honest, unscripted perspective you can't get from a formal event. It's relaxed, it's genuine and it's one of the best ways to find out whether Serra is the right fit for your son.
