Walk Around Wednesday
Learn about the value of a Serra education.

This event is intended for prospective parents and guardians.
Is it important for you to understand the vision and culture of the private high school your son will attend?
At Serra, we believe leaders have a tremendous impact on an organization’s vision and culture. That’s why we want our prospective parents to have the opportunity to spend some quality time in an intimate setting with Serra President Michael Fadelli '88 and Head of Enrollment Management Julie Behn.
Walk Around Wednesday begins in our Admissions Center and is a parent-only program held weekly, September through December. These small-group gatherings present the perfect environment for meaningful, interactive conversations and include a chance to get your questions answered and your expectations heard.
Serra parent ambassadors will also be on hand to share their unique perspective on the Serra community and their sons’ experiences.
The morning wraps up with a guided tour of our high school campus.
Padre Previews
Experience the excitement of the Serra community.

This event is geared toward sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade families.
Padre families open their homes to welcome sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade boys and their parents to meet Serra students, parents and teachers in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
These informative gatherings, scheduled on weekday evenings and weekend afternoons, will show you why Serra High School is the right choice for your son—a critical time in his life when character is shaped and foundational values are determined.
You will learn about the breadth and rigor of the academics, the dynamic, extensive extracurricular programs and the legendary Serra brotherhood from those who live and love the experience. It’s a genuine preview of what you can expect when you join the Serra community.
Padre for a Day
Be a student at Serra for a day.
This event is reserved for current eighth graders only.
The high school years are among the most transformative in a young man’s life, so choosing the right high school is critical to his growth and development. That’s why it’s important for him to experience a day in the life of a Serra student—authentic, interactive, up close. And that’s what Padre for a Day is all about.
Our student guests will meet up with current Padres, tour the campus and take part in classes, where they can see how our incredible teachers relate to their students and engage them in learning. They’ll also be treated to a delicious lunch along with their Padre host (yep, we know food is an important criteria).

Padre Admissions Chats
Join Serra's Director of Admissions in an open discussion about what to expect when applying to Serra
This parent-only event is geared toward sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade families.
We know that the high school admissions process can sometimes feel overwhelming, but our admissions team is here to help make it a seamless experience. One way to get started is by joining Director of Admissions Shari Wiemer in a small-group admissions chat.
These virtual get-togethers are scheduled on Fridays during admissions season. You’ll learn all about the application and admissions process, and you’ll discover what qualities Serra looks for in a student when determining acceptance.
