A Look Back at Tom Brady's First Title and Generous Gift to Serra

In 2002, Padre alumnus Tom Brady '95 and the New Englad Patriots won their first title and Brady's won his first of five Super Bowl MVP awards. The MVP honor also bestowed upon him a Cadillac Escalade EXT. Brady decided to generously donate the car to Serra to be raffled off at its annual benefit auction.
A big part of the raffle was incentivizing the students to get involved in selling tickets. Brady himself offered three tiers of prizes for students, based on how many tickets they sold: $500 in sales earned a Brady-signed football, $1,500 got a Brady-signed Patriots helmet, and $2,500 earned an authentic signed jersey.
