Junipero Serra High School publicly announced its capital campaign, Always Forward.
Junipero Serra High School publicly announced its capital campaign, Always Forward, the Campaign for Junípero Serra High School, on October 20 with the announcement that more than $27 million has already been committed toward its $38 million goal – the most ambitious fundraising effort in the school's 78-year history.

The campaign, which will support the Stinson Center for Learning and Innovation, classroom renovations, athletics field enhancements and endowment and scholarships, has been privately gaining momentum since early 2021, raising 71 percent of its overall goal. A generous gift of $7.5 million from alumnus Ken Stinson, Class of 1960, and his wife, Ann, and a $2.9 million grant from the Carl Gellert and Celia Berta Gellert Foundation, were notable early gifts.

A bulk of the campaign dollars have already been invested in the Stinson Center for Learning and Innovation, a 13,000-square-foot space that will house Serra's design-led thinking lab and global connections program. This $17 million learning commons will open to students in March 2023.
