Tommy Rogers Makes Running History at Serra High School

Senior Tommy Rogers placed fourth in the Division II race this weekend at the California State Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno. Rogers is the first ever Serra Padre to medal at the California State Cross Country Championships in the history of the event and the school.

Rogers' time of 15:28 for 5000m, placed him in the top 25 in the entire state of California, thus qualifying him to take place in the prestigious West Regionals on December 4 in Los Angeles.
