If you ask Aidan Broderick ‘20 about his high school experience, he would emphatically state that Serra’s performing arts have had a tremendous impact on him. Drama challenged Aidan to step outside of his comfort zone and shine on stage.
“My favorite teacher is Mr. Long, and my favorite subject throughout all of high school was Drama, as performing arts would be the ultimate thing to shape me into the person I am today,” Aidan said.
A member of the Tri-School Productions (2016-2020), Serranaders (2018-2020), SerraNoters (2018-2020) and the International Thespian Society (2018-2020), Aidan said his greatest accomplishment to date is being a part of every single Tri-School Production since his freshman year at Serra, including the summer productions.
When Aidan heads to the University of Portland this fall, he will reflect on his time at Serra with fond memories.
“I will always remember the friends I've made, the memories I've had of being a part of this brotherhood, and being a part of a large network of people I could rely on,” he said.
He is forever grateful to his family.
“I would like to thank my family for believing in me the entire way, even when I may not have believed in myself,” Aidan said. “It was through your encouragement and kindness that have helped me in more ways than could be expressed.”
Bravo, Aidan! We can’t wait to see you shine at the University of Portland!
