Congratulations to Daniel DeBattista ‘20, who is off to University of Colorado, at Boulder to study biochemistry this fall. While he hopes to become a veterinarian, he also hopes to open a Christmas tree farm on a huge plot of land.  

While at Serra, Daniel was a member of the barbecue club, the video games club and the french club all four years. He also swam on the swim team his senior year. But he said his greatest achievement to date is passing honors chemistry. 

When he leaves Serra, Daniel said he will miss “Dr. Buckels’ magical homeroom meetings” most of all. Pressure from his peers coupled with the unique Padre brotherhood has had a positive impact on Daniel and one he said he won’t forget. 

To his supportive family, Daniel said, “thanks for the laughs. You guys rock!”
