Eric Anchartechahar

Eric Anchartechahar is headed to Tucson this fall, where he will begin his college career as a Wildcat at the University of Arizona.

Eric is proud of his Padre legacy, with his brother and dad both being Serra alumni.

While at Serra, Eric played football freshman year and baseball on the freshman and JV teams. He said his experience at Serra has helped him “to respect my peers and work well with others.”

His favorite high school memory is the Jungle Game his sophomore year. And while he isn’t sure what he will major in when he gets to Arizona, he is certain it will propell him in the right direction. In the next decade, he sees himself “in a $10 million mansion.”

His favorite quote: “The art of living does not consist in preserving and clinging to a particular mode of happiness, but in allowing happiness to change its form without being disappointed by the change; happiness, like a child, must be allowed to grow up.” -- Morgan Child.

Eric said he is grateful to his family. “Thank you to my family and friends for all your support.”

Congratulations, Eric! University of Arizona is lucky to have you! Best of luck!
