Congratulations to Ian Semien, who is off to University of Colorado, at Boulder, to study civil engineering. One day, Ian hopes to be “heading a well known engineering and architecture firm.”

At Serra, Ian played football, track and field, swimming, was a student ambassador, and a  member of the BBQ and ultimate Frisbee clubs. 

Both Ian’s greatest accomplishment and his favorite memory at Serra was the wild ride to state football championships.

Ian said his time at Serra taught him a lot about himself. “Serra has taught me to be who I am and to appreciate everyone I know.” 

He certainly appreciates the Padre brotherhood, which he said was his favorite Serra tradition. 

To his supportive family network, Ian said, “Thank you all so much for pushing me and teaching me. Thank you for putting up with me and for making me the man I am today,” he said. 

Congratulations, Ian! We are all so proud of you and can’t wait to see all that you do in your future!
