It’s a home run for Mitchell Nabeta, who will play baseball for Puget Sound this fall. Mitchell was one of 11 Serra athletes from the Class of 2020 to sign to play collegiately.
Playing baseball in college stands as one of Mitchell’s greatest accomplishments. While at Serra, Mitchell played baseball all four years, and said that his favorite memories are with his teammates, “hanging out in the clubhouse, the practices and the games.”
“Serra has taught me what it means to be a true man,” Mitchell said. “Serra has also given me great friendships and a great education.”
Mitchell plans to study Kinesiology in college. His favorite quote, “Take advantage of opportunities because they don’t come around too often,” will serve him well in his journey.
He is grateful to his mom and dad for making it possible for him to attend Serra. “Thank you, these four years have been one of the best experiences in my life thanks to you.”
We can’t wait to see you on the diamond at Puget Sound, Mitchell! Congratulations!
