Nico Browne will study international business at Washington State University this fall and, hopefully, in a decade, he will find himself living in Argentina with his wife and family and making good money.
Nico played soccer at Serra, was a big brother and also part of the Encounter Team. He values his time at Serra for making him strong both mentally and physically.
“Serra has really made me stronger. It has helped me to understand I need to work hard and stay positive for my family,” Nico said. “I will always remember Serra for its brotherhood, support, and spirit.”
The spirit of Serra gratitude is illustrated in his words of thanks to his family.
“Thank you for all the unconditional support and love,” Nico said. “I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given.” He vows, “One day I’ll take care of all of you the way you did for me. Thank you.”
Nico said he also values his time in Mr. Goyette’s class, whom he refers to as an “absolute legend.”
His favorite quote is, “Sometimes you must hurt in order to know, fall in order to grow, lose in order to gain, because life’s greatest lessons are learned through pain.”
Congratulations, Nico! We are so excited to see all that you will accomplish, both at WU and beyond!
