The Tri-School Consortium
Serra is a single-gender school with abundant coed connections.
Teenage boys need to build healthy and meaningful relationships with both their male and female peers. That’s the guiding principle of Serra’s formal partnership with sister schools Mercy Burlingame and Notre Dame Belmont.
What is the Tri-School Consortium?
The Tri-School Consortium brings together our three schools to offer students the best of both worlds: the focus of single-gender education and the benefits of coeducational experiences.
Through shared classes, clubs, performances, retreats and social events, students connect with peers from the other schools in a respectful and supportive environment. Each school maintains its unique identity while giving students the chance to learn, collaborate and grow together.
Students enrolling in Tri-School courses are asked to sign a Tri-School contract to ensure a shared understanding of the program’s expectations.
