Parents in Partnership
At Serra High School, parent involvement creates our unique school community.
It is Serra’s philosophy that parents are the primary teachers of their children. As partners in your son’s education, families are encouraged to participate early and often. The investment of time and talent of Serra’s families not only supports the entire school community, but also adds to each family's experience at Serra High School.
The four years that your sons will spend at Serra will pass by very quickly, and it has been our experience that parents who are involved often find that they enjoy these important years just as much as their sons do.
Your partnership with Serra signals your confidence in our mission to inspire confident, compassionate, independent and creative thinkers who embrace lifelong learning.
The Padre Fund is the lifeblood of Serra’s fundraising efforts each year.
Serra counts on the annual year gift to the Padre Fund from our community, consisting of alumni, parents, grandparents, board members, friends and faculty, to help underwrite the cost of a Serra education.
Annual gifts to the Padre Fund serve as Serra’s greatest source of unrestricted income, allowing us to enhance curriculum, attract and retain the finest faculty and sustain the operation and maintenance of the facilities
Serra’s Mothers’ and Fathers’ Clubs facilitate fun opportunities to engage and participate. We are looking forward to meeting each of you this year.
