Serra Sports and Recreation Camp

Serra's Sports and Recreation Camp is an action-packed day camp for boys and girls entering grades 1st through 7th. Recreation activities, arts, crafts, and sports activities are all a part of this fun, energetic camp. All activities are designed to promote fitness while encouraging fun and the development of social skills. Campers are grouped by grade only, with no exceptions. Adult supervisors, assisted by high school and college-aged counselors, provide guidance and support, and make the camp experience a memorable one. The Serra Sports and Recreation Camp is managed under the direction of Serra alum Anthony Hoyt '14.

Five Weekly All-Day Camp Sessions from June 16-July 25

All-Day Session: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. | fee: $350
there are no sibling discounts or scholarships available. Extended care is available for an additional fee.
please note that due to the high volume of registrations, changes cannot be made once your registration has been processed. 
If it is absolutely necessary, an exception will be considered and a $20 processing fee will be  assessed.

Camp Features:
  • Camp T-Shirt for each camper provided (campers who participate in multiple sessions will receive one T-shirt for the summer).
  • Daily snacks and water provided (campers must bring their own lunch).
  • Hot lunch available for an additional charge.
  • Camper insurance, which covers campers in case of accident or injury, is included as part of the camp fees.
What Campers Need Each Day:

Tennis shoes, play clothes, hat, water bottle, sunblock and towel. Campers not participating in hot lunch option must bring their own lunch each day.

Please be sure that all personal belongings are clearly labeled with the camper's name. there will be a lost and found where we collect all belongings left behind.
please leave all games, toys and electronics at home.
 
Camp Arrival and Departure
  • Campers should arrive no earlier than five to ten minutes before the beginning of the session.
  • All campers must be picked up promptly when the session ends.
There will be a $30 fee charged each time a camper is picked up later than 15 minutes after the end of the day's session.

All applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Many sessions close early, as they reach capacity quickly. Online registration must be paid via credit card and in full at the time of registration. (Waitlist may be available.)


Extended Care

Morning and afternoon extended care is available for campers through the online registration form when signing up for camp.

MORNING EXTENDED CARE IS 7:30 A.M.-9 A.M.
$65 per one-week session

AFTERNOON EXTENDED CARE IS 4 P.M.-5:30 P.M.
$65 per one-week session
hot lunch option available when signing up for camp
$8 per day

Cancellation Policy

The last day to withdraw from all programs without incurring any charges is February 28.

  • A 25% fee will be deducted from all refunds for withdrawals from March 1 through May 9.
  • A 50% fee will be deducted from all refunds for withdrawals from May 10 through June 6.
  • No refunds will be provided for withdrawals after June 7.
  • In the event that Serra cancels a specific program due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be provided.
