Serra Children's Sports and Recreation Camp
All Summer at Serra programs, unless otherwise noted, are designed for on-campus, in-person participation.
Please note, however, that programs are subject to change based on local COVID-19 conditions and public health orders.
Serra's Sports and Recreation Camp is an action-packed day camp for boys and girls entering grades 1 through 7. Recreation activities, arts and crafts and sports skills are all a part of this fun, energetic camp. Activities are designed to promote fitness while encouraging fun and the development of social skills. Campers are grouped by grade. High school and college-aged counselors and adult supervisors provide guidance and support, and make the camp experience a memorable one. Both morning and afternoon extended care is also available (scroll down for more information).
The Children's Sports and Recreation Camp is managed under the direction of Serra alum Anthony Hoyt.
Covid 19 protocols in place at Serra High School are fully aligned with guidelines established by San Mateo County Health. This will necessitate modifications to the daily operation of our Sports and Recreation Camp. Campers will be assigned to smaller groups and there will be restrictions on sharing of resources and supplies. Hand sanitizing/washing and social distancing protocols also will be implemented. Families will receive more detailed information on Covid-19 protocols prior to the start of camp.
